Vet inspection required for Yes Yes Yes

The Darren Weir trained Rubick colt Yes Yes Yes is in doubt for the MM 2YO Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast after showing signs of soreness and the colt will need to pass a veterinarian's test if he is to take his place in the juvenile race on Saturday.

Stewards and vets conducted inspections of all runners and emergencies in the 2YO Classic and MM 3YO Guineas on Thursday.

The Darren Weir-trained Yes Yes Yes was originally to be flown to Brisbane but when no flight was available he was sent by float.

A Queensland Racing Integrity Commission spokeswoman said Yes Yes Yes was found to be displaying soreness over the rump and a degree of lameness in the near hind leg on arrival on Thursday morning.

"A further examination will be carried out on Friday morning," she said.
