Racing NSW reported on Wednesday that the present weather forecast for Grafton on Sunday is for a maximum temperature of 41 degrees celsius.
Racing NSW is presently monitoring weather forecasts. In the event that the forecast has not improved, the meeting will be transferred to Coffs Harbour which has a maximum temperature forecast of 33 degrees celsius.
Please note that the following race distance changes will apply at Coffs Harbour:
Class 1 and Maiden races from 1100m to 1000m
Class1/Mdn Plate from 2200m to 2100m
Maiden Hcp from 1700m to 1600m
There is also the forecast of temperatures of 41 degrees celsius at Wagga Wagga on Saturday (28th November).
Racing NSW is presently monitoring weather forecasts. In the event that the forecast does not improve, the race meeting will be commenced earlier with the final race to be held just after 3pm.
Racing NSW is also monitoring temperature forecasts for other venues over the weekend and at this stage, the meetings will proceed as planned.
