Raceday wagering review

The wagering review of Saturday's TAB.com.au fixed odds betting for races at Kembla Grange and Ballarat on Saturday:

KEMBLA GRANGE

RACE ONE
The well-tried Bigboyroy held on to land a handy betting move in the Canadian Club 3&4YO Benchmark 72 Handicap (1500 metres).
Backed from $8.50 at the start of the day into $6.50 at the jump, Bigboyroy held off a fast-finishing Air To Air ($5-$4.60) to land some good bets.
Knight ($7-$4.80-$5.50) held on well for third after over-racing in the lead.
The big disappointment was Atlantic King ($4-$4.60) which went around as equal fav with Air To Air and was the most popular runner. The Matt Dunn runner was never a factor after racing near the tail throughout.
BETS: Bigboyroy $1,000 @ $6.50, $1,000 @ $6
BETS: Air to Air $3,000 @ $4.60, $1,000 @ $4.80 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Knight $3,000 @ $5.50

RACE TWO
Activation was a costly proposition in the TAB Highway Handicap (1600 metres).
The Kody Nestor-trained galloper was nearly three times as popular as anything and opened $7.50 on Wednesday when markets were first released. Today, the support continued as it was $4.20-$3.90.
All Over Magic ($10-$4.40-$6) was the most significant mover today and easily the best tried to beat the fav while Evas Deel ($8) was next best in terms of popularity.
She's All In, a 413 chance at the start of the day, peaked at $17 before jumping at $16 and leading throughout.
BETS: Activation $10,000 @ $3.90, $1,000 x $1,500 e/w @ $3.90/$1.75, $2,500 @ $3.80, $2,000 @ $3.80, $1,500 @ $3.80

RACE THREE
Relucent and Accountability were two of the better tried runners in a very open race at Kembla Grange.
Both Chris Waller reps had some backing in a race where there were several runners carrying significant support.
Relucent ($11-$9.50) was backed in from double figures while Accountability, an $11 chance on Wednesday, jumped a $6.50 chance and was one of the better backed runners.
Navy Cross ($7-$5-$6) went around as the most popular runner with nearly a quarter of the total investment while Stockman ($4-$6), despite being a drifter, wasn't far behind in that regard.
Kirwan's Lane ($10-$9.50) carried a number of decent eachway investments.
BETS: Kirwans Lane $2,000 @ $10
BETS: Navy Cross $2,000 @ $6, $1,000 @ $6 MULTIPLE TIMES

Going around nearly twice as popular as the second pick in the market Pandemic ($3.80-$4.40), Big Parade led but faded midway down the running.
Mo's Crown ($6.50-$8.50) was kept safe in betting and didn't really budge from $7 for most of the afternoon but got out slightly late.
