Queensland Racing Integrity Commission veterinarians on Thursday continued pre-race inspections of all runners for Saturday’s Magic Millions feature races.
Three-year-old Guinea’s runner Snitzonfire was found to be short-striding in the near foreleg and will be re-examined on Friday morning, along with Dovetail Diva who was found to be lame in the off foreleg and will face re-examination on Friday afternoon.
Two-year-old Classic runner Cusack will also require reinspection after experiencing lameness in the off hind leg and Sneaky Starter will be re-plated and re-examined on Friday afternoon.
Snitcat will be examined on Friday morning after its arrival at the Gold Coast from its Sydney stables.
The horses examined on Wednesday will be reinspected on Friday including 3-year-old Guinea’s runners Me Me Lagarde, Indiscreetly and Glorious Ruby along with Two-year-old Classic runner Soaring Ambition, who will undergo further examination after being re-plated.
