A short introduction of Miss Seow is as follows:

Known by her given name Jerlyn, Seow, 27, started off as a syce with trainer Lesile Khoo in 2016. The next year, the Singaporean was transferred to trainer Steven Burridge where she also doubled up as a track rider.

Keen on a career as a jockey, Seow took a step closer to her new dream when she joined Walker in 2018. With more opportunities at the bigger yard, she soon got a chance to ride in the barrier trials, which eventually led her to finally get her apprentice jockey’s licence.
