2020 Missile Stakes: Tips And Race Preview

Tips and Race Preview for the 2020 Missile Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday show it as a really good edition of the race. Flit is a value chance at $6.

Speed looks solid enough with both Special Reward and Eduardo expected to take it up.

FLIT (5) went to the paddock off a near peak performance when narrowly beaten in the Arrowfield Sprint. Yet to miss the money fresh and her best performance came when first up last preparation. The blinkers go back on and the booking of JMac is a further push. Drawn to take up a position and shapes as one of the hardest to beat.

EDUARDO (10) proved too strong in his stable debut for Joe Pride and was rated right up to his best. That's a solid platform for this and he should find the front for Nash. Major threat. MELODY BELLE (4) kicks off her Spring preparation and while this is short of her best, you have to respect her class. SAVATIANO (13) goes like a bomb fresh and has to be kept safe.

2020 MISSILE STAKES – SELECTIONS

1st – 5 Flit

2nd – 10 Eduardo

3rd – 4 Melody Belle

4th – 13 Savatiano

2020 Aurie’s Star Handicap: Tips And Race Preview

A horse who likes it here heads the Tips and Race Preview for the 2020 Aurie’s Star Handicap at Flemington on Saturday. Great Again is well suited at $4.20.

Home Of The Brave rolls and Great Again can bowl along with him from the draw alongside. GREAT AGAIN (5) ran well to finish in the placings over this distance in the G3 Bletchingly Stakes at Caulfield latest. Good run and back to the straight and back against the handicapper suits. Very consistent and placed to advantage.

HOME OF THE BRAVE (2) looks like getting things run to suit. Sound last time and right alongside Great Again two back. Looks a bit of a target for him and think he can run a big race.

SO SI BON (1) had a terrific prep last time around. He's won this at big odds in the past and a big run from him fresh would certainly not surprise. WIDGEE TURF (4) can run well first up. Straight can suit fresh - giving him a chance to wind right up.

2020 AURIE'S STAR HANDICAP – SELECTIONS

1st – 5 Great Again

2nd – 2 Home Of The Brave

3rd – 1 So Si Bon

4th – 4 Widgee Turf
