Farnan now $5.00 for Gold Coast

The Waterhouse and Bott trained Not A Single Doubt colt Farnan went to the top of the TAB market at $5.00 for the MM 2YO Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast on January 11th after winning the MM Wyong 2YO Classic RL (1100m) at Wyong on Thursday.

The colt immediately went into $4.50 after the win for the 2YO Classic market and started Friday at $5.00. He was first quoted at $51.00 firming to $15.00 after a debut win at Canberra over 1000m on November 17th.

"That's the first time I've sat on him," said Clark.

"He was very impressive. He has a great attitude. He seems unflappable and that's a good attribute to have. He felt the filly come and he gave a great kick."

Farnan is the third winner from three to race for the group winner Tallow. A daughter of Street Cry, Tallow won the Group Three The Vanity at Flemington and was second in a Magic Millions 3YO Guineas before retiring to stud.
