2021 Stradbroke Handicap: Tips And Race Preview

Hard to avoid the run of the last start G1 winner in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Stradbroke Handicap, Vega One was brilliant and is at $5.50.

Abundant early pace from Apache Chase, Emerald Kingdom and Savatoxl vying for the lead with Master Jamie on their backs. VEGA ONE (11) settled near last but came with a huge burst to win in the G1 Kingsford-Smith Cup at this track over 1300m last start. Will appreciate the big weight drop and the extra 100m so looks hard to hold out.

WILD PLANET (7) is a talent who hit the line hard and got close when resuming with a second in the G1 Doomben 10,000 over 1200m. Further improved and over the extra ground looks a strong winning chance. THE HARROVIAN (12) was just behind them when third in the 10,000 and he too goes well second up so can progress off that.

APACHE CHASE (18) loves the trip winning four of five attempts. Can give a sight while TOFANE (3) is a G1 winner at the distance and nears her peak.

1st – 11 Vega One

2nd – 7 Wild Planet

3rd – 12 The Harrovian

4th – 18 Apache Chase

2021 JJ Atkins: Tips And Race Preview

One race dominates the form for the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 JJ Atkins, Converge gets its revenge here at $3.40.

Slick pace with Volcanic Rock finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. CONVERGE (2) was the real eye catcher of the G2 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes where he settled last in the big field but rocketed home to miss by a head. Placed in the G1 Champagne Stakes over this distance two back and is looking for the journey again. Hard to hold out.

TIGER OF MALAY (1) was brave when he held Converge off to win the Sires'. If he can run a strong mile he is a definite chance to do the double. PORT LOUIS (5) is progressing well and found the line strongly when third in the Sires. Extra journey a plus and is among the leading chances. RANCH HAND (7) ran below expectations last time out but is better than that and missed narrowly fresh. Worth another chance. Wouldn't surprise to see SUBTERRANEAN (3) in the finish.

1st – 2 Converge

2nd – 1 Tiger Of Malay

3rd – 5 Port Louis

4th – 7 Ranch Hand

2021 The Q22 (PJ O’Shea Stakes): Tips And Race Preview

Easy to find the fav in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 The Q22 (PJ O’Shea Stakes) and Zaaki is short at $1.50.

Le Don De Vie and Homesman to battle for the leading role. ZAAKI (1) has been a class above at his past two wins and couldn't have done much more in his 7 length romp in the G1 Doomben Cup. Looks well placed again and is set to complete the hat trick. WARNING (6) had four weeks off after winning over 2000m in the G3 JRA Chairman's Trophy at Doomben but has been kept up to the mark with a trial. Race fit fourth up so can go well again.

TOFFEE TONGUE (14) was the best of the chasing brigade in the Doomben Cup. Will be tough for her to turn the tables on Zaaki but she can get into the finish again. The best form of LE DON DE VIE (8) and HOMESMAN (2) sees both as exotic hopes.

1st – 1 Zaaki

2nd – 6 Warning

3rd – 14 Toffee Tongue

4th – 8 Le Don De Vie

2021 Brisbane Cup: Tips And Race Preview

Some famous colours can peak in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Brisbane and Carif is ready to win now at $4.

Anticipating a solid early tempo despite the small field with plenty of pace engaged. CARIF (1) looks set to peak at the right time. He is building up to a win and there was plenty to like about his latest effort when a nose second in the G3 Premier's Cup at this track. There could be a little more improvement to come and that would see him hard to beat.

KNIGHTS ORDER (4) used the inside draw to advantage last start, sitting on the pace and going on to score over 2400m in the Listed Winter Cup at Rosehill. Race fit and gives the impression he will see the longer journey out.

RONDINELLA (3) was runner up in the Sydney Cup the last time she attempted this distance. A repeat of that performance would see her tough to beat. LORD BELVEDERE (5) hasn't been far away and should be involved while SWEET THOMAS (7) strips fitter so can improve.

1st – 1 Carif

2nd – 4 Knights Order

3rd – 3 Rondinella

4th – 5 Lord Belveder

2021 Dane Ripper Stakes: Tips And Race Preview

An ever consistent mare heads up the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Dane Ripper Stakes. Sweet Deal is a wide elect at $4.80.

Wild Vixen and Splendoronthegrass have enough pace to take up the running despite wide draws. SWEET DEAL (6) continues to race well with a win two back in the G3 Hawkesbury Crown before running on for second in a Listed Race at this track. Top strike rate at the journey with four wins and two placings from six starts and is sure to run well.

EXHILARATES (9) beat Sweet Deal when taking out the Coughlan last time. Back in winning form and could go on with it. FUNSTAR (1) and DAME GISELLE (8) represent the class. Both are multiple stakes winners and are up to winning this if they show their best. COVENTINA BAY (7) is a smart Kiwi with G1 form. Her strike rate appeals so and she could measure up.

1st – 6 Sweet Deal

2nd – 9 Exhilarates

3rd – 1 Funstar

4th – 8 Dame Giselle

2021 Gunsynd Classic: Tips And Race Preview

Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Gunsynd Classic at Eagle Farm, Ayrton is easing out to $1.80.

A few that like to go forward so it should be keenly contested. Boom gelding AYRTON (2) suffered his first defeat when edged out in the G3 Fred Best Classic at this track but had looked untapped in his other three wins including his resuming performance at Caulfield. Peaking third up and draws the inside. Expecting him to bounce back.

ELLSBERG (1) resumed with an all-the-way G3 win in Sydney and while he has been beaten as a hot favourite in both outings since they have seen sound efforts. Will go forward and may prove hard to get past. EASY CAMPESE (4) dug deep to win at Kensington last start. Should be camped just off the leaders and can give a sight. WITHOUT THINKING (5) steps up in grade but winning form must be respected while GLITTER STRIP (10) is a first four hope.

1st – 2 Ayrton

2nd – 1 Ellsberg

3rd – 4 Easy Campese

4th – 5 Without Thinking
