Race 1 NEDS MORNINGTON CUP PRELUDE - 2000 metres:

Defibrillate On jumping away was tightened for room by Dawson Diva, which was taken out by Happy Pharrell, which jumped away awkwardly and shifted out.

Happy Pharrell - Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out.

Aussie Nugget (IRE) Slow to begin (4L). Held up and unable to improve from the 600 metres before obtaining clear running near the 400 metres. Held up over the concluding stages and went to the line not fully tested. Co-trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman were notified that a warning has been placed on the geldings record for being slow to begin.

Hang Man (IRE) Shortly after the start brushed on the hindquarters by San Huberto (IRE) and became unbalanced.

Dawson Diva Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Disappointed for a run and had to be steadied passing the 300 metres.

Wolfe (JPN) Weakened from the 100 metres. Rider Glen Boss reported the gelding was disappointing and would be better suited with the addition of blinkers. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Race 2 ZEDS ZEDITAVE STAKES - 1200 metres:

Oxley Road On jumping away bumped by Confrontational, which jumped away awkwardly and shifted in.

Confrontational - Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in.

Grand Pope Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

Valaquenta Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Held up for clear running from the 500 metres before gaining clear running passing the 300 metres.

Saltpeter Near the 200 metres was hampered by Itsourtime, which shifted to the outside of Oxley Road, which, when racing greenly, shifted out slightly.

Conceited Near the 200 metres brushed on the hindquarters and became unbalanced by Saltpeter, which had been taken out off its course.

Race 3 NEDS ANGUS ARMANASCO STAKES - 1400 metres:

Daniel Stackhouse, rider of Malicorne, which finished second past the post lodged an objection against Yes Baby Yes (Jamie Kah) being declared first placegetter on the grounds of alleged interference approaching the 100 metres. It was established that near the 130 metres Yes Baby Yes shifted out slightly towards Malicorne, which necessitated its rider Daniel Stackhouse having to turn the filly out slightly, whilst continuing to ride. As Stewards were not satisfied that had the incident not occurred Malicorne would have finished ahead of Yes Baby Yes the objection was dismissed.

Miss Guggenheim Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers after making contact with the fence leaving the mounting yard and was passed suitable to race. Slow to begin and was then tightened for room by Impecunious, which was taken out by Malicorne. Steadied near the 200 metres when disappointed for clear running on the inside of Wanalirri, which was weakening. Then had difficulty obtaining clear running from the 100 metres.

Malicorne On jumping away hampered when tightened for room between Impecunious (NZ) and Safe Passage, which jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly.

Safe Passage - Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Approaching the winning post, when laying out, shifted out and was steadied off the heels of Impecunious (NZ).

Wanalirri Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

Chica Fuerte Lay in under pressure in the straight. Rider Mark Zahra reported that he was given no specific instructions other than, if caught wide from the wide barrier, to attempt to settle mid-field with cover. He stated that after being neutral from the start he was obliged to race wide and therefore elected to restrain and settled further back with cover than intended. He added the filly would be better suited over more ground. Co-trainer Sam Freedman confirmed the instructions.

Impecunious (NZ) Passing the 250 metres had to be steadied when disappointed for a clear run on the inside of Malicorne. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly had been galloped on the left hind. A veterinary clearance is required prior to being permitted to race again.

Race 4 PREMIER SIGNS MANNERISM STAKES - 1400 metres:

Sovereign Award Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival on course and was passed suitable to race. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

Neighbourhood Rider Luke Currie could offer no explanation for the performance other than his mount peaked at the 150 metres and hung in. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality.

Perfect Jewel Rider William Pike reported after beginning well he found himself further forward than anticipated and when caught wide he elected to stride and take up the position behind the leader.

Race 5 ZIRCODATA AUTUMN CLASSIC - 1800 metres:

Adandiman Change of tactics Attempt to be ridden further back. Restrained at the start and settled at the rear of the field.

Butter Chicken Slow to begin.

Milton Park Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

Young Werther (NZ) Over raced in the early stages. Near the 700 metres, when the tempo eased had to be checked off the heels of Wise Counsel. In the straight hung in. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality.

Narvaez Led and weakened from the 250 metres. Rider Glen Boss reported, in his view, the colt failed to run out a strong 1800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality.

Race 6 LAMAROS SOUTH MELBOURNE FUTURITY STAKES - 1400 metres:

Ole Kirk Began awkwardly. Rider Kerrin McEvoy reported the colt for some distance in the middle stages, raced tight to the inside of So Si Bon on ground which may have been inferior. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Crosshaven Began awkwardly. Rider Daniel Stackhouse reported after beginning awkwardly, in his opinion, then did too much work early and failed to respond to his riding in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Too Close The Sun Near the 900 metres steadied to avoid the heels of Streets Of Avalon (Zac Spain), which shifted in. Z Spain was severely reprimanded and notified to exercise more care.

Race 7 NEDS BLUE DIAMOND STAKES - 1200 metres:

Jigsaw Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped Construct.

Construct Bumped at the start.

Artorius Began awkwardly.

Pegasi Began awkwardly. Over raced in the early stages. Eased down. Rider Kerrin McEvoy reported his mount raced greenly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

General Beau Began awkwardly and was then bumped by Ginibi, which on jumping away shifted out.

Ginibi - On jumping away shifted out and bumped with General Beau.

Arcaded Began awkwardly. Eased down from the 150 metres. Rider Damian Lane could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Anamoe Taken wider on the course rounding the home turn by Pegasi, which lay out.

Wolves Taken out off its course and tightened for room near the 350 metres between Abseiler and Artorius (Luke Currie), which shifted out before being straightened. L Currie was severely reprimanded.

Ginibi Tailed off and eased down. Rider Damien Thornton could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality.

Race 8 NEDS OAKLEIGH PLATE - 1100 metres:

Riding The Wave Slow to begin. Passing the 200 metres shifted in and bumped Zoutori, unbalancing Riding The Wave.

How Womantic Slow to begin.

Kemalasa Began awkwardly.

Ranting (NZ) Over raced in the early and middle stages.

Dirty Work Held up from the 200 metres. Shifted out approaching the 100 metres and bumped Sword Of Mercy, as a result Dirty Work and Sword Of Mercy became unbalanced.

Brooklyn Hustle Held up for clear running from the 400 metres until the 300 metres.

Standout Rider Damien Oliver reported the quick early tempo was detrimental to his mounts chances. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Hanseatic Rider Damien Thornton could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the stable.

Anders Weakened from the 100 metres. Rider Glen Boss could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt sustained a wound to the near fore. A veterinary clearance is required prior to being permitted to race again.

Ancestry Rider Michael Poy reported in his view the gelding would be better suited on tracks with more give.

Race 9 CARLTON DRAUGHT PETER YOUNG STAKES - 1800 metres:

Homesman (USA) Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers after making contact with the fence on leaving the mounting yard and was passed suitable to race.

Regal Power Slow to begin. Approaching the 1400 metres, when racing keenly and making ground to the inside of Chapada, got its head up and lay out towards the heels of Chapada and as a result was checked by rider William Pike. Raced tight on the inside of Chapada for several strides near the 1100 metres Subsequent to the race W Pike expressed his disappointment with the geldings performance but could offer no further explanation. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Trainer Grant Williams advised that he could offer no explanation for the poor performance but will report to Stewards next Wednesday after the stable vet examines the gelding.

Nights Watch Slow to begin. Rider Declan Bates reported although slow to begin, in the early stages as the runners stayed off the fence and did not attempt to cross him, he ended up further forward than anticipated.

Angel Of Truth Slow to begin.

Steel Prince (IRE) Raced three wide without cover.

Chapada Raced in restricted room passing the 300 metres between Steel Prince (IRE) and Harlem (GB), which had shifted out. Over the concluding stages raced close to the heels of Paradee.
