RNSW stewards' report on Graff

Racing NSW Stewards on Tuesday evening advised that they have been provided with the results of a lung wash performed on the Kris Less trained Graff following its disappointing performance in the $1m, The Hunter (1300m) at Newcastle on 16 November 2019.
The lung wash revealed evidence of Graff having experience exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage (EIPH), most likely during the running of the event.

Graff, who started as the $4.40 second favourite, finished 12th, 5 1/4L behind the $4.40 favourite Savatiano, after fading from ninth at the 400m.
Mr Lees advised that Graff has now been spelled. He was advised that prior to Graff racing again it would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards and be subject to a satisfactory veterinary examination including an endoscope, following the barrier trial.
