Just Thinkin' scratched from Shannon Stakes

Racing NSW stewards' advised late Friday that co-trainer Adrian Bott has advised that Just Thinkin’, an acceptor in the Group 2 Shannon Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on Saturday, has been scratched from that event after show signs of colic and requiring treatment on Friday afternoon.  

Mr Bott has been advised a veterinary clearance is required prior to Just Thinkin’ racing again. Mr Bott confirmed that the stable is still considering starting the gelding in the Group 1 TAB Epsom Handicap (1600m) at Randwick to be run on 3 October 2020. 

The Snowden trained I Am Superman is now the $3.20 favourite with TAB for the Shannon Stakes. Kerrin McEvoy rides the last start Caulfield winner with barrier five and 54.5kg.
