Godolphin weekend runners update

Godolphin trainer's James Cummings and Sam Freedman's comments on the stable's runners at Caulfield and Rosehill on Saturday.

Race 3 - Neds Zeditave Stakes-Group 3  (3yoCG SWP)       (1200m)

PANDEMIC (AUS) - 3yo Gelding by Sepoy (AUS) out of Cataclysm (AUS)
“I like the way this race shapes for him along the way to something even more significant.”
“The step up to Stakes grade is well within his scope.”

Race 5 - Neds Angus Armanasco Stakes-Group 2  (3yoF SWP)       (1400m)

LA TENE (AUS) - 3yo Filly by Helmet (AUS) out of Celts (AUS)
“She’s worthy of another crack this autumn after failing to really fire in the spring.”
“She might take a run-or-two, but she’s looking quite fit for her return.”

Race 7  Neds Blue Diamond Stakes-Group 1  (2yos SW)       (1200m)

HANSEATIC (AUS) - 2yo Colt by Street Boss (USA) out of Itameri (AUS) – Sam Freedman
“He worked super on Tuesday morning, he’s held his condition well, he’s showing that he’s maintaining his form.”
“Lyre was a filly that got better with every run. Hanseatic has been brilliant right from day one and has kept on improving as well.”
“He’s got good gate speed. Even though he ended up coming from the back last start, he could have taken up a forward position.”
“At his last start he had everything go wrong that could possibly go wrong, but he still won.”

Race 8 -  Neds Oakleigh Plate-Group 1       (1100m)

BIVOUAC (AUS) - 3yo Colt by Exceed And Excel (AUS) out of Dazzler (AUS)
“His first-up win in the Vain Stakes here in the spring was exceptional and the form stood up.”
“I was very happy with his trial win at Rosehill a few weeks ago and a jump out in Melbourne last Friday has him primed and ready.”

Race 4 -  Millie Fox Stakes-Group 2  (F&M SWP)       (1300m)

SAVATIANO (AUS) - 5yo Filly by Street Cry (IRE) out of Retsina (AUS)
“We chose this race against the mares because it seemed fitting that she should be given the right chance for more Black Type.”
“Her spring form was excellent. She has a good first-up record, she’s won three from six, but she actually rates better second-up.”

Race 7 -  Hobartville Stakes-Group 2  (3yos SW)       (1400m)

MICROPHONE (AUS) - 3yo Colt by Exceed And Excel (AUS) out of Sung (AUS)

Regarding the decision to run in the Hobartville:
“Initially I considered waiting to see what happened in the C S Hayes at Flemington last week before making a final decision.”
“In the interests of the horse however, we put him on the float back to Osborne Park soon after his surging victory in the Autumn Stakes. That way we could focus totally on the Hobartville.”
“He travelled back beautifully and his lead-up gallops have been good.”
“He’s going to take terrific form and a deep grounding into this contest.”
“He also gets the opportunity to make amends for being narrowly beaten at his only Rosehill start when second in the Golden Slipper.”

On the race itself:

“The Hobartville is a race of champions and to have his name on the same list as the great horses who have won it would be most satisfying and would add significant stature to his stallion prospects.”
