Final two races at The Farm abandoned - Kembla Grange in doubt

Racing NSW stewards’ and jockeys meet twice at Warwick Farm on Wednesday due to continuing rain and dark conditions throughout the meeting with the final two races abandoned.

The track received in excess of 60mm with the track rating of a Heavy 9 early Wednesday morning downgraded to a Heavy 10 before the first race.

The meeting at Kembla Grange on Thursday is in doubt after stewards conducted a track inspection on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 60mm of rain has fallen over the last 24hrs and between 5mm and 20mm is predicted for Wednesday night. Surface water is currently sitting over the final 50m.

Stewards will conduct an inspection at 6am on Thursday, however, with an unfavourable forecast the race meeting is in some doubt of proceeding.
