2021 Doomben 10,000: Tips And Race Preview

Those out of high quality Championships sprints feature in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Doomben 10,000, Eduardo has been airborne for a while and is at $2.20.

The speedy Eduardo is likely to take up the running. EDUARDO (2) has been terrific this campaign. Won first two starts back from a spell, defeating Nature Strip in the Challenge Stakes before an impressive all-the-way win in the G1 Galaxy at Rosehill. Stepped up to this distance last time and was a brave third in the G1 TJ Smith. Kept up to the mark with an easy trial win and only has to hold his form to prove very had to catch.

WILD RULER (9) is a progressive colt who has won two of three starts this time in, the latest in the G2 Arrowfield Sprint against his own age. Midfield behind Eduardo in the Galaxy two back but did get back and run on that day. Could challenge him this time. SPLINTEX (5) also has to lift on his Galaxy effort but has won the Hall Mark in Sydney since and has upside.

TREKKING (1) was a beaten favourite at Eagle Farm first up but was only 1.4L away. Capable of much better and expecting him to show it. VEGA ONE (6) ran on well for second in the Victory Stakes and should be hitting the line again.

2021 DOOMBEN 10,000 – SELECTIONS

1st – 2 Eduardo

2nd – 9 Wild Ruler

3rd – 5 Splintex

4th – 1 Trekking

2021 Champagne Classic: Tips And Race Preview

Going for some value in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Champagne Classic, Tiger Of Malay has form up to this race and is at $6.50.

A frenetic battle early on with See You In Spring and Maotai going hard, joined by King Kapa pushing on from an outside draw. TIGER OF MALAY (2) has had a month off since he led the G1 Sires in Sydney but faded out of it. Has been kept up to the mark with an easy trial win and missed by just a nose in the G3 Pago Pago two back. Strong claims back to this level.

Hard to knock SEE YOU IN SPRING (11) who has led throughout to win both starts, the latest a Listed race in Adelaide. Has to go another 150m but she is sure to give a sight. GIANNIS (4) has raced just twice and went to the paddock off a placing to subsequent Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside at Randwick. Readied with two trials in Sydney, winning the latest. Keep very safe.

MISS HIPSTAR (10) raced on pace and was too strong in winning a Listed race fresh. Could go on with it. KALASHNIKOV (1) hasn't raced since he was down the track in the Golden Slipper but won his previous two including the Black Opal. Respect.

2021 CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC – SELECTIONS

1st – 2 Tiger Of Malay

2nd – 11 See You In Spring

3rd – 4 Giannis

4th – 10 Miss Hipstar

2021 Rough Habit Plate: Tips And Race Preview

The Sydney form is the play in the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 Rough Habit Plate. Senor Toba was so good last outing and he is at $3.50.

SENOR TOBA (8) is lightly raced and highly progressive. Relished the jump in distance when running on for a stylish 1.3L win in the G3 Frank Packer Plate over this distance at Randwick. That was his second win from just four starts and he has plenty more to come. Looks tough to hold out.

HIGH SUPREMACY (7) couldn't match Senor Toba when runner up in the Packer Plate but it was his third successive close up effort in stakes company so he is going well. He is race fit and should settle in front of his rival. That gives him a chance to turn the tables.

ACHIEVER (6) also comes through that race where he led and boxed on to place. He should be prominent again and has each way appeal as does KUKERACHA (4) who improved to place in the Queensland Guineas and can progress again third up. KHOEKHOE (1) disappointed last start but has claims of his Australian Derby effort two back.

2021 ROUGH HABIT PLATE – SELECTIONS

1st – 8 Senor Toba

2nd – 7 High Supremacy

3rd – 6 Achiever

4th – 4 Kukeracha

2021 JRA Trophy (Chairman’s Handicap): Tips And Race Preview

Fancy an interstater leads the Tips and Race Preview for the 2021 JRA Trophy (Chairman’s Handicap), Hang Man has been in great touch and he is at$3.40.

Seat Of Power has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. HANG MAN (1) heads north with strong form. Hit the line hard for a close third in the G3 JRA Plate over this distance at Randwick last time. Had won three of his previous four in Victoria including the G3 Easter Cup at Caulfield over this journey. That form stacks up well in this line up.

GET STUCK IN (4) dug deep to win fresh then wasn't far away last time. Has four wins and a placing from five third up attempts so he should be peaking. SO YOU WIN (6) has chased well to place in both runs since a spell. Another that will be at his best third up.

WARNING (3) ran on in an improved effort at Flemington last time and will be looking for this distance now. SEAT OF POWER (12) is racing well and makes each way appeal.

2021 JRA TROPHY (CHAIRMAN'S HANDICAP) – SELECTIONS

1st – 1 Hang Man

2nd – 4 Get Stuck In

3rd – 6 So You Win

4th – 3 Warning
