Harpalee Began awkwardly. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running from the 150m until approaching the 50m.

Souk Raced keenly in the early stages. Approaching the 150m was steadied to avoid the heels of Hallowin which shifted in under pressure before being straightened. Rider Mark Zahra could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Stormbourg Had some difficulty obtaining clear running from the 300m until passing the 150m.

Mrs Archibald When questioned, rider Daniel Stackhouse explained that he was able to cross the field easily in the early stages. He added that his mount, which was only having its second start, shifted out slightly rounding the home turn which enabled Rich Dottie, which was trailing his mount, to quickly improve to his inside which availed that filly the opportunity of an inside run. Daniel Stackhouse further added that the filly continued to race greenly in the straight and would benefit from the race experience.

Valetudo (GB) Underwent a veterinary examination upon arrival, having not raced since November 2023 overseas, and was passed suitable to race. Brushed with Gator near the 150m.

Justified At Last Began awkwardly.

Expeetee Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced keenly in the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover. Over the final 50m was held up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of Inexorable and as a result was unable to be fully ridden out to the line.

Steel Run Approaching the 1300m was eased to avoid the heels of Mohnar which shifted in slightly.

Mohnar When questioned, rider Beau Mertens explained that he led as expected but the instructions had been to try and establish a break on the field from the 600m. Trainer Gavin Bedggood confirmed the nature of the instructions and added that Mohnar is somewhat one paced.
