All Too Hard trials well
14 Sep 2012 | Racingandsports.com.au All Too Hard ran second in a trial at Warwick Farm on Friday morning.

The George Main Stakes-bound half brother to Black Caviar cruised around under new jockey Chris Munce, and was only passed in the last 50m by a flashing Torio’s Quest.

Munce is in line to take the ride on All Too Hard in the Group 1 weight-for-age George Main Stakes where the three-year-old colt would carry just 50.5kg.

Trainer John Hawkes had initially planned to contest this weekend’s $1m Golden Rose at Rosehill, but connections pulled out of the seven-furlong race in favour of the mile.

All Too Hard resumed to run third in the San Domenico Stakes (1100m) last month then could only manage fifth behind Pierro in the Run To The Rose (1200m).
