The Australian Turf Club advised on Thursday that the 2012 Golden Slipper champion Pierro will return to the scene of the first of his Sydney Carnival Group 1 Triple Crown triumph at Rosehill on Saturday for an exhibition gallop.
The Gai Waterhouse trained Pierro, with Nash Rawiller, will gallop with Landing, Tommy Berry, after Race 2, the $85,000, Fairfield RSL Bm 80 Handicap (1400m) at 1.25pm, over approximately 1000m.
Pierro is being aimed at the $1m, Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on October 15th where is the $3.00 favourite on TAB Sportsbet's market followed by All Too Hard at $4.20 who also makes an appearance at Rosehill in the Group 3 Smithfield RSL Club San Domenico Stakes (1100m).
