13 Apr 2012 | Australian Turf Club Racegoers attending this Saturday’s David Jones Australian Derby Day at Royal Randwick can win a share of $200,000 as the Australian Turf Club’s “Super Sevens” promotion makes it return.
The promotion, which was launched for the opening two days of this year’s BMW Sydney Carnival gives all attendees the chance to claim a share of $200,000 for picking the winners of Races 3-9.
The latest version of the Super Seven’s Promotion is sponsored by James Boags and will http://www.thesydneycarnival.com.au run across all three Carnival days at Royal Randwick.
“This competition went down to the wire with a lucky punter making it through to the sixth leg on both occasions,” said ATC Chief Operating Officer Ian Mackay said.
“With slightly smaller fields this Saturday, the likelihood of someone getting the cash is only increased.”
To enter, patrons can find a “Super Sevens” entry form located in the day’s race book. Racegoers need to make their selections and place them in the entry boxes before Race 3. Live updates of how many entries are still alive will be broadcast over the public address system throughout the afternoon, building the excitement.
A fantastic day of racing is scheduled this Saturday, headlined by the running of the Group 1 $1,500,000 David Jones Australian Derby and supported by two further Group 1s; the set weight-for-age $1,000,000 Darley TJ Smith Stakes over 1200m and the two-year-old classic, the $500,000 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes (1400m).
