With three scratchings reducing the field to six runners trainer Brian Dean went into the $55,000 Class 4 Stakes over 1200m on the Polytrack feeling confident.
And that confidence was well founded when That’stheone landed the prize.
Ridden by Erasmus Aslam, That’stheone scored by a half-length from Double S (Greg Cheyne) with Flying Ahead (Saimee Jumaat) a length-and-a-quarter away third.

It was the first time since May 1, 2011 – some 13 starts – since That’stheone last tasted success but Dean said the gelding had been very consistent.
“It’s about time for this one,” said Dean. “He’s always thereabouts in his race and he’s finally got the job done.
“He found his right race tonight and I was confident he’d run well before the scratchings and I was even confident when the others came out.
“Wendy and the kids will be watching back home in Bendigo and it’s good to get another winner.”
Aslam gave That’stheone a good run just behind the speed which was set by Fat King (Mohd Zaki) before gaining a split turning for home.
That’stheone quickly assumed the lead but over the final stages of the race wanted to lay out allowing Double S to narrow the margin at the finish.
“He probably got to the front too soon and wanted to lay out in the final stages,” said Dean.
“I think he’s better off when he’s got something to chase.
“It was good for Aslam to get another win on the board. He works hard but is just not getting the opportunities he once did.”
A six-year-old by Zedrich from the Rancher mare Snow Rancher, That’stheone was an A$10,000 yearling purchase and Friday night’s victory took his prizemoney to around $245,000 for Dean who also owns the gelding.
