RACE 1

US-bred four-year-old Magic Ocean (3) looks to have the foot on the till. If things go his way, he can open his account here. Frontrunner Beyonce (9) will again be in the lead for a long way, but she always finds a couple to run her down. Can still hang on for a place. From barrier No 3, Hearts (6) should enjoy a cosy run before making his presence felt in the concluding stages. Solid claims. Success Winnie (1) is another one who should have a say from her perfect draw in barrier No 2.

RACE 2

Xavio (1) ran on for a surprising third at his last start. First test on Polytrack. If hem handles that surface well, he should be in the money. Testing Time (8) needed the run at debut and would have come on from that. Better prospects this time. King Flight (2) ran on pleasingly at his only test over Polytrack. Reverts to that surface and should be more competitive. Two-year-old Harden Up (12) ran second in a barrier trial on May 24. Can fight out finish.

RACE 3

No standouts here. Dreamcatcher (3) reverts to his last-start winning surface and distance. Going well on training tracks. Scandal (8) won from the front two starts back. Will be thereabouts when the whips are cracking. Brown Shadow (9) did show some promise a few starts back before losing his way. Brought back to 1200m and from barrier No 1, he may finish in the money this time. Kaepeeyai (11) may find this too short, but if he unleashes the same turn of foot, he may arrive on time for a place on board.

RACE 4

An ordinary field where the search for likely winners can be narrowed down to a handful. Pasha Khan (11) can race both handy and off the pace. Nice draw. Go close. Zac Supreme (2) can vie for the lead. Shorter trip in his favour. But he may have to contend with Knight Kingdom (7) who has however drawn further out. Aeton (8) has done well at his recent two runs on Polytrack. Worth another shot.

RACE 5

Hard to get past the progressive Dragon Spirit (2). Shoulders some weight but on recent form it should not stop him. He will however face some worthy challengers like Palombaro (3), Glownight Racer (6) and Raging Storm (4). Palombaro has been a shade disappointing of late but this is easier and he may be able to regain his best form. Glownight Racer is probably looking for more ground but don’t rule him charging home late. Raging Storm came with a slashing run from the back to finish closer to the placegetters last time out. Commands respect.

RACE 6

This looks no harder for impressive last-start winner Knight Scorpio (4). Ready to salute again. Chevy (8) is looking for a three-in-a-row but he is up in grade. Can still run a place. Daring Splendour (3) has been thereabouts but has just not been able to finish it off. Place claims. Zac Nirvana (1) is down in class. He will be making ground late.

RACE 7

Wide-open race. Rapido Star (1) has mixed it with the best and is dropping off a notch in class. Should be able to account for this lot especially from the inside alley. Just Dashing (11) was impressive at his last-start win. He drops back to 1600m but should be just as effective. One to follow. Ignore the last race of Tarankali (5) who was slow out of the gates and was checked several times. If he gets a clear run this time, he will be a big threat. Raffles Knight (10) scored a nice all-the-way win at his last start, but faces stiffer opposition this time. Go close.

RACE 8

Barring one run, American Vision (3) has been a model of consistency. Distance is up his alley but awkward alley does pose a problem. Still a strong winning chance. Debut winner Powerpac (4) dropped back to the rear with the blinkers second-up. He made ground late but was well beaten. Blinkers come off again in a bid to sharpen him up. Stable transfer Thisisit (5) is resuming from a short let-up and looks able to go well fresh. Keep in mind. Golden Tree (2) did not finish far behind the winner and placegetters at his last win. Each-way claims.

RACE 9

Tough race to assess. Oil Baron (6) ran well at his last outing, running home strongly over 1700m. Will relish extra 200m. Another horse who will appreciate the step-up in distance is Incredible Hulk (2). Big say. Royal Brat (9) is not the most reliable customer but in this mediocre field, he may be able to run a place. Darring Do (8) made some late ground at his last run. The longer trip will suit better.

RACE 10

Goal Keeper (3) is eyeing his sixth win already. Drawn the outermost alley, and has only U Got It on his inside to overcome in the speed department. If he can cross him without spending too much petrol, he will be hard to beat. Exciting prospect Red Beard (4) is back from a six-month spell, but steps over Polytrack for the first time. May need the run but a place is not beyond him. Running Tall (9) has not quite lived up to his big reputation. Not a bad sort, though, and can still give this one a shake. Velocity (10) may look a little out of his depth here but he has trialled well and may sneak into the minors here.

RACE 11

Impressive last-start winner Full Toss (1) can get on with the job. He has drawn an alley again and will be hard to run down inside the last furlong. Chinese Culture (6) was flying home late at his last run. Will appreciate the extra 100m. Spinning Success (9) is right in the mix in this. Should figure in the finish. Green Jacket (5) was not disgraced in a Class 4 race last time out. Can hold his own here. Takis (3) bounced back to form at his last start. If he reproduces that form, he will be a danger here.

RACE 12

Though still green second-up, Lucky Xuan (8) did not take long to get off the mark. First time on Polytrack but there is no reason to believe why he won’t measure up again. Chilli (6) is racing in good form and can be considered again. Wide draw not a concern as he gets back. Exciting Ahead (7) scored on Polytrack two runs back. Back on that surface and should prove more competitive. Doraemon (2) has pace and may battle with Lucky Xuan for the lead. If he gets his way in front, he may be hard to catch.
