NZB Winter Mixed Sale this Sunday 30 Jul 2010
New Zealand Bloodstock Ltd

The New Zealand Bloodstock  Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale is being held at Karaka this Sunday 1 August.

With Lots catalogued up to 147, the majority of the offering is comprised of broodmares along with yearlings, two-year-olds, unraced stock, racehorses and one stallion prospect.

The day's selling will kick off at 11am and will be available for viewing online.

In addition to the four stakes winning mares in the supplementary session, the sale offers plenty of investment opportunities for breeders and traders alike.

In the yearling section there are some exciting pin-hooking opportunities including Lot 67, a High Chaparral filly from the Kaapstad mare Caserio. This makes her a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Dorabella (Postponed) and stakes-winner in New Zealand and Singapore, Crusoe (Volksraad).

Leading sire High Chaparral is also represented through five mares that will be offered having been covered by the six-time Group 1 winning son of Sadlers Wells. Other covering sires include Align, Darci Brahma, Deputy Governor, Ekraar, El Hermano, Elisive City, Falkirk, Fast 'n' Famous, Gallant Guru, Gold Centre, Hawkeye, High Chaparral, Iffraaj, Keeninsky, Lucky Unicorn, Mr Nancho, No Excuse Needed, Perfectly Ready, Royal Gem, Saperavi, Sakhee's Secret, Sandtrap, Scaredee Cat, Stravinsky, Thano, Thorn Park.

Leading broodmare sires represented include Bletchingly, Canny Lad, Danehill, Encosta de Lago, Flying Spur, Grosvenor, Lord Ballina, Pentire, Pompeii Court, Quest for Fame, Royal Academy, Sir Tristram, Star Way, Stravinsky, Success Express, Woodman and Zabeel.

New Zealand Bloodstock agents Danny Rolston and Clint Donovan will be onsite to inspect horses tomorrow. If you are interested in any particular lot, contact Danny (+64 21 473 209) or Clint (+64 21 800 372) to organise an inspection.

New Zealand Bloodstock's Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale will be followed by the South Island Sale of 2YOs & Mixed Bloodstock on Friday 6 August. Contact reception@nzb.co.nz to request catalogues.
