Winx magic sprinkled on Valley ticket sales

The Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) on Friday reported that Winx magic has the 2018 WS Cox Plate meeting at The Valley on  October 27th set for a modern day record crowd of nearly 39,000. The Chris Waller trained mare is looking to win an unprecedented fourth W.S. Cox Plate.

The MVRC said that all General Admission (GA) tickets for Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day have been sold. The Club said that there are some options still remaining:

•           Limited Season Tickets are available that allows GA access across each and every race meeting, including the Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival, for just $75.

•           The new-look Carlton Draught Valley Precinct, this year located in the racetrack infield and with an hour long concert post the last race featuring DJ sensation, Hot Dub Time Machine has tickets starting at $200.

•           One of the best ways to take in the entire Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival is in the Members’ Enclosure through a MVRC Membership. Gain access to the two-day Carnival and 17 other race meetings across the racing season, with memberships starting from just $165.

"The Valley is set for a modern day record crowd of almost 39,000 who will witness Winx aim to become the first horse to win four W.S. Cox Plates. Since the announcement was made by trainer Chris Waller in March that Winx would stay in Australia and race on through the Spring Carnival, the level of interest in the 2018 Ladbrokes Cox Plate has been unprecedented," said Michael Browell, CEO MVRC.
