The Chris Waller trained mare Winx is considered a better chance to win the 2018 renewal of the $4m, Group 1 WFA Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick on April 14th compared to the same time in 2017, according to TAB.com.au who have priced her at $1.40 following official nominations for the race.
In 2017 the bookmaker opened the star mare at $1.60 when nominations were released before starting the race at $1.12.
“The worlds number one race horse on turf has opened a dominate $1.40 to defend her title. The price may look short this far out but such is her dominance against her rivals in a number of wins over the last two years, come race day that may be well be overs,” said TAB’s Glenn Munsie.
