Richard Freedman pays tribute to the late champion Naturalism.
I'm so sad to say that Naturalism - perhaps my favourite horse ever - died today at Meringo Stud. He was 29. I saw him only a month or two ago and he seemed so happy and vital. He was pound for pound the best horse I've laid a hand on. RIP old mate. pic.twitter.com/xOUMfm1Nap— Richard Freedman (@R1CHARDFREEDMAN) July 13, 2018
As we farewell the top-class Naturalism, relive his win in the 1992 AJC Derby. One for the history books!— Sky Racing (@SkyRacingAU) July 13, 2018

We are sad to hear the news that Naturalism has passed away at Meringo Stud this morning at the age of 29. A triple Group One winner of the Rosehill Guineas, AJC Derby & Caulfield Stakes. He was purchased as a yearling by Anthony for $35,000 and won $3,285,626 on the track. pic.twitter.com/7Z6PBrAKdu— Freedman Racing (@FreedmanRacing) July 13, 2018
