UPDATE 11.25am - Arcadia Queen has been scratched from the Group 2 Schweppes Sheraco Stakes and she is now the $2.10 favourite with TAB for the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes.
Earlier report Wednesday morning- A field of eight has been accepted for the $200,000, Group 2 Sydney Markets The Run To The Rose (1200m) for three-year-old’s at Rosehill on Saturday, with the return of Yes Yes Yes and Prince Fawaz up against the Group 2 San Domenico Stakes winner Exceedance along with second placed Bivouac.
The Hawkes’ trained Exceed And Excel colt Exceedance was brilliant on the Heavy 9 at Rosehill for the San Domenico Stakes over 1100m on August 31st defeating Bivouac and Anaheed by 2L in his first run of this campaign.
On Saturday Exceedance carries 57kg under Tommy Berry with barrier five.
The Anthony Cummings trained Fastnet Rock colt Prince Fawaz is the top-weight with 58.5kg for Kerrin McEvoy with barrier one. Cummings had Prince Fawaz peaking at the right time to win the Group 1 JJ Atkins over 1600m at Eagle Farm on June 8th after earlier winning over 1400m at Randwick on May 25th.
The Waller trained Rubick colt Yes Yes Yes won the Group 2 Todman Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on March 9th before a good seventh in the Group 1 Golden Slipper over 1200m from the impossible position of barrier 16. Nash Rawiller rides with barrier four and 57.5kg.
Bivouac, the winner of the Group 3 Vain Stakes over 1100m at Caulfield on August 17th before his second in the heavy conditions of the San Domenico Stakes has 57kg and barrier six.
Exceedance has opened at the $2.30 favourite with Yes Yes Yes and Bivouac on the second line at $4.60. Dawn Passage is at $6.00, Kubrick $11.00, Prince Fawaz at $15.00, Hightail $26.00 and Mo's Crown $101.00.
The Run To The Rose is Race 6 at 3.10pm.
The $200,000, Group 2 Schweppes Sheraco Stakes (1200m), for fillies and mares, has a field of 14 including the Chris Waller trained Arcadia Queen who has 58kg and barrier 10, while she is duel accepted for the $200,000, Group 2 Tooheys 150th Birthday Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) where she has 56kg and barrier one.
The four-year-old Pierro mare Arcadia Queen who will start with a dominate West Australian form line of five wins from six starts. The mare is currently at $11.00 with TAB for The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on October 19th.
Arcadia Queen has opened with TAB as the $2.25 favourite with Trope on the second line at $6.00 for the Theo Marks Stakes.
The Theo Marks Stakes is Race 7 at 3.50pm and the Sheraco Stakes is Race 8 at 4.30pm.
The nine race programme commences at 12.10pm with a capacity field of 13 in the TAB Highway Class 3 Handicap (1400m).
The were 119 acceptances for the programme.
The Rosehill track is rated a Good 4 on Wednesday with the rail to be out 6m for the entire circuit on Saturday.
