Sydney jockey Tye Angland has lodged an appeal against the penalty of his suspension after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Aramayo in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) at Randwick on Saturday.
Following a Stewards inquiry on this date Angland was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, October 14th 2018 and to expire on Sunday, October 21st 2018 on which day he may ride. The suspension means that Angland would miss the Caulfield Cup meeting on October 20th
This appeal has been set down for Friday, 12th October 2018, to commence at 9:30am.
