Cecil outlines Group 1 plans for Beauty Parlour
17 Jul 2012 | Racingpost.com Trainer Sir Henry Cecil has outlined some tentative plans for his new arrival Beauty Parlour, with all roads leading to the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita in November for the former French-trained filly.
The French 1,000 Guineas winner was one of two fillies transferred to Warren Place by the Wildenstein family last week and Cecil is only just getting to know his classy new arrival.
Following her Classic win, the daughter of Deep Impact finished second in the Prix de Diane (French Oaks) over 1m3f on her last start and Cecil is set to drop his new charge in distance.
He said: "She's a very smart filly and I would see her as a miler, with perhaps the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot being an autumn target.
"Before that we could look at something like the Group 1 Prix De L'Opera at Longchamp, although I haven't got that far yet.
"Beyond that we would be looking at the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita but it's early days."
