07 Jun 2012 | Auckland Racing Club The Auckland Racing Club on Thursday announced the appointment of Cameron George as Chief Executive Officer.

Cameron comes to Ellerslie after extensive experience in both New Zealand and Australia’s racing integrity systems.

Chairman of Auckland Racing Club Russell Warwick said, “The Board is delighted to appoint someone of Cameron’s calibre to the position of Chief Executive at Ellerslie. To complement his racing experience, Cameron also has a strong background in residential and commercial property which we believe will be of enormous benefit to Ellerslie’s future growth.”

Says Cameron George, “It is a privilege for me to have been afforded the chance to lead such a successful organisation. The opportunities that exist across the business, within all of its facets, will provide exciting times for myself, Auckland Racing Club members, staff and the public who get to experience what it is to be a part of the exhilarating environment Ellerslie offers.”

Cameron will take up the reins at Ellerslie in mid-August.
