Educated Melbourne Cup money?
03 Jul 2012 | ThoroughbredNEWS News Desk Last year’s Melbourne Cup runner-up, Red Cadeaux, has already come in for good support in this year’s race reports TAB Sportsbet.

Even though the Melbourne Cup will not be held until the first Tuesday in November, one punter believes Red Cadeaux can go one better than his effort last year. They have outlaid $3,000 @ $26 for a potential $78,000 collect.

The current Melbourne Cup favourite with TAB Sportsbet is defending champion Dunaden, who is $16 and marginally ahead of last year’s third placegetter, Lucas Cranach.
