Super Easy in top 50 on World Thoroughbred Ranking
10 Aug 2012 | Singapore Turf Club Singapore has two horses rated in the world’s 50 best racehorses on the recently published World Thoroughbred Rankings.

The World Thoroughbred Rankings are the compilation of the ratings of senior handicappers of the various race clubs from around the world.

Rocket Man is Singapore’s highest rated galloper on 122 while Super Easy made the list – covering February 1 through August 5 – with a rating of 120.

That rating places Super Easy as the third highest rated southern hemisphere-bred three-year-old sprinter behind the recently retired Sepoy on 123 and Foxwedge on 121.

Frankel tops the ratings at 140 following his win in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot in June with Black Caviar in second place on 130.

Meanwhile Ato – the winner of the Group 1 KrisFlyer International Sprint in May – received international recognition for trainer Pat Shaw and owners Dennis and Gael Evans when he was named International Horse of the Year at the 2012 Cape Breeding and Racing Awards in South Africa last Tuesday night.
