RACE 1

Blinkers have worked wonders on Zac Supreme (9). Not far from his breakthrough. Leading hope. Still a maiden, Kamar Dancer (7) recorded two seconds on Polytrack before running out of the placings on turf at his last run. Reverts to Polytrack. Drawn an alley. Can be followed again. Rising Shadow (4) is back from a short let-up. Previous form was mixed but on his day, he can make a fist of this. Well drawn. Solid chance. Audio Friend (1) picks up a hefty 5.5kg for his last-start win. Drops back in distance. Still a fighting chance.

RACE 2

Debutant Cheetah On Fire (4) has two barrier trial seconds to his credit. Seems ready to put best foot forward. Veni Vici (2) has race experience and a fifth to Gusha as his best performance to-date. Not without a place claim. Black Unicorn (10) has fair trial form and would not surprise if he shows up early. Former Malaysian-based galloper Macau Roulette (6) makes his Kranji debut here. Second at his last run in a 1400m race at Ipoh, he could go well fresh.

RACE 3

Not seen since his flop in a 1200m race last March, Robert E (3) is back racing and sporting blinkers again. Ran second in a barrier trial on July 26. Job handed to top jockey Joao Moreira. Blinkers back on. Go close. Californian Star (2) cannot be written off on his last outing when he was checked and lost ground. Previous record showed a run of placings. Visor on. Must be respected. Perwira (1) may have found the 1000m dash too sharp at his last start. This suits better. Big say. Powerpac (7) has not quite lived up to the top billing that came with his debut win. Subsequent runs have been fair only. Can pick himself up.

RACE 4

Newcomer Double Star (4) scored a decisive win in a barrier trial on July 17. Will be ridden by Joao Moreira. Will be in this for a long way. Wilkinson (9) seems to be another horse with some ability from new outfit Empress Wu Stable. He has however drawn a horror gate. Chances lessened but can still run a place. Gallant Heights (5) won his barrier trial on July 11, albeit in a small field. Forward showing on the cards. Lord Roberto (1) has stripped fitter after that first run under the belt. Looks set to progress further.

RACE 5

Rollthedice (3) has been running in the money of late. This does not look any tougher for him. Top three finish. Chan’s Electra (8) made headway when fitted with blinkers at his last run. If he reproduces that run, he has to stand a good chance here. Smarty Smarty (7) was denied her maiden success by a fingernail when caught late by Beautiful World at her last run. Place claims. Rich Born (5) is back in form and merits consideration in this lot.

RACE 6

With a record of two wins and four placings from six starts, Precisely (2) is certainly a model of consistency. Blinkers on. Another huge run in store. Running Tall (1) has not scored since his debut win but his latest runs suggest he is not far from returning to the winner’s circle. Blinkers come back on. Big say. Flash Gift (4) is looking at a third successive win but faces his biggest test thus far. Should be in the hunt for a long way. Flying Wild (8) has improved by leaps and bounds since the blinkers came off. Must be respected.

RACE 7

Atiamuri (1) lost on protest at his last start. First Polytrack test. Can make amends. Simple Man (5) powered home late for third at his last start. Trip suits and he should make his presence felt again. Take The Fifth (9) is still winless in 18 runs, but his last-start third was full of merit. Has drawn the inside gate. Not without a say. Tornado Win (3) is back on Polytrack over which he has scored all his four wins. Mixes his form but remains competitive in this grade.

RACE 8

Debutant Texan Takeover (3) is a two-time Victorian winner who looks set to show his wares early. Won a barrier trial on July 17 and goes into the race fit and ready. Jet Ace (5) is a useful type. Barring one race, he has never disgraced himself after his debut win. Keep safe. Chilli (1) is as tough as they come but he has drawn off the track and may have to settle for a minor placing this time. Asclepius (4) returns on Polytrack over which he scored his debut win. Marble one. Place chance.

RACE 9

From barrier No 1, Bull Shot (7) should be able to get into the box seat before popping the question upon straightening up. Comes right into the mix for this. Last-start winner Lightning Ace (8) is in his element here. Will be running on at the business end. Capriccioso (1) looked like she could break her duck at her last run but had to settle for second place in the end. Top impost may stop her but a place is not beyond her again. Apache Junction (4) has had two runs under his belt since resuming. He is going okay and he may fight for a minor spot.

RACE 10

KrisFlyer runner-up Mr Big (3) makes his racing comeback. Looks in good nick and a first-up win would not surprise. Handles both Polytrack and turf very well. Captain Obvious (1) lost no admirers in the Paititi Gold Trophy when third to Super Easy. Four-kilo claim is a big boost. Yin Xin (4) bounced back to terrific form after his ordinary KrisFlyer run. Must be rated with a top chance. Coup Align (5) has speed to burn. He will be hard to run down if he gets his way in front.

RACE 11

The progressive Chateauneuf Dupape (4) should be able to measure up here. Nice alley. Horse to beat. Peaceful Warrior (3) has changed stables. He made stacks of ground at his last outing to find only one better. Pacifiers on. Bears watching. Viva Panata (2) ran second to Chateauneuf Dupape at his last run. Hard to see him turn the tables on him especially as he is now 1.6kg on worse terms. Still a strong place hope. Thisisit (9) keeps hitting around the mark. Back on Polytrack. Good run expected.
