Winx and stablemates in Melbourne

The Waller stable reported on Tuesday morning that champion mare Winx, accompanied by last Saturday's Golden Rose winner The Autumn Sun, Invincibella, Youngstar and Another Dollar, arrived at their Flemington stables on Monday.

"They will all have a relatively easy few days before we look to step up their workload at the end of the week in preparation for their next starts," said Chris Waller.

"I am very pleased with the way she (Winx) came through her last start and this was evident in a strong piece of work last Saturday at Rosehill.

"She was ridden by Hugh Bowman and he was extremely happy with the way she felt and I could not have been happier with
her condition and body language subsequent to this gallop," he said.

Winx won the Group 1 George Main Stakes over 1600m by 4L over Le Romain and stablemate Egg Tart at Randwick on September 15th.

Waller said that the future plans for the stable's runners will decided in the near future.

"I will provide further information on their immediate plans when a decision has been made," he said.

"I am fully focused on racing this weekend in Sydney and Melbourne where we have strong representation in the Group 1 Epsom, Group 1 Metropolitan and Group 1 Flight Stakes as well as the highly competitive support races on the card at Randwick as well as the Group 1 Underwood Stakes at Caulfield.

"It promises to be a fantastic weekend of racing and I look forward to commenting on my runners once the final fields are declared for these meetings."
