The Anthony Freedman trainer Super Seth is set to join the strong stable team for the Sydney Autumn Carnival with the Dundeel colt to be sent out for the $1m, Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday week.
The stable advised on Friday that the colt will start in the Randwick Guineas and he may back up a week later in the All-Star Mile (1600m) at Caulfield after he was voted into the field for the $5m race.
Super Seth won the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas over 1600m at Caulfield last October and resumed on February 1st with a win in the Group 3 Manfred Stakes over 1200m at the same track. He returned to Caulfield to run second to Streets Of Avalon in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes over 1400m last Saturday.
Super Seth is the current $3.50 TAB Market favourite for the Randwick Guineas, ahead of Shadow Hero at $5.00 and Castelvecchio and Microphone sharing the third line at $7.00.
News: Super Seth will head to Sydney for next Saturday’s Group 1 Randwick Guineas however we have NOT ruled out the All Star Mile yet.
