Ringerdingding favoured to ring the bell again on Sandown Guineas

Following the Sebring colt's win in last Saturday’s listed Springtime Stakes at Flemington, the Darren Weir trained Ringerdingding is the $3 favourite with TAB.com.au for Saturday’s $250,000, Group 2 Sandown Guineas (1600m) at Sandown-Hillside.

Ringerdingding will face stiff competition from Seabrook, $3.30, who was not disgraced when finishing sixth in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes over 1600m at Flemington on Victoria Derby Day.

“Considering the way Ringerdingding won last Saturday and that Seabrook was third in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas two starts back, it is no surprise that they dominate betting for the Sandown Guineas,” TAB’s Trent Langskaill said.

In the $350,000, Group 2 Zipping Classic (2400m), The Taj Mahal (IRE) has tightened marginally as TAB favourite at $4 into $3.90, while there has also been early support for Dal Harraild (GB) at $7 into $5.50 and Our Libretto (NZ) at $7.50 into $5.50.
