Stella Artois and the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) on Friday announced a new sponsorship that will see Stella Artois become naming rights sponsor for the 2018 Caulfield Cup Carnival and the $3.15m, Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m).
Peta Webster, MRC’s Chief Commercial Officer, welcomed the new naming rights partner.
“Stella Artois has been part of the Melbourne Racing Club family for some years now, and last year sponsored the Young Members precinct, a favourite among racegoers." said Webster.
Carlton & United Breweries’ VP of Marketing, Richard Oppy, was proud to confirm the new sponsorship
“Caulfield Cup is one of the great events of the racing calendar, and we’re excited to be increasing our commitment to the Carnival with Stella Artois,” Oppy said.
“Stella Artois is a brand associated with quality, sophistication and style; it’s a perfect partnership for a Carnival with such a rich history.”
