Flemington introduces general admission season pass
03 Jul 2012 | Victoria Racing Club The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) on Tuesday announced a new general admission Season Pass for the upcoming racing season, which commences on 1 August.

Valued at over $560, the $200 Season Pass offers access to all 23 Flemington racedays, including the four days of the prized Melbourne Cup Carnival.

VRC Chief Executive Dale Monteith said the VRC was excited to launch the offer to reward Flemington’s loyal patrons.

“The Season Pass represents fantastic value for money for those coming to Flemington throughout the year, and includes access to one of the world’s great racing and social events - the Melbourne Cup Carnival,” Monteith said.

“Many of our loyal racegoers attend all four Carnival days, and the Season Pass offers a significant discount on this cost alone.

“Consider Flemington’s many other marquee racedays such as Sofitel Girls’ Day Out in September, Melbourne Cup Carnival Preview Day in October, and the Melbourne Festival of Racing’s three Group 1 meetings in 2013, and the value is clear.

“The Season Pass represents an important strategy to attract and engage a wider racing audience at an affordable price point.”

The $200 general admission Season Pass is on sale now through Flemington Customer Service by calling 1300 727 575 or by visiting flemington.com.au/seasonpass.

Racegoers who purchase a Season Pass by 31 July, 2012 will go into the draw to win one of five luxurious raceday experiences including lunch for two in the Panorama Restaurant on Racing Rewards Day on 11 August.
