Jugahlation brings off third leg of treble
20 Jun 2012 | ThoroughbredNEWS News Desk The $2.00 favourite Jugahlation won the Mimco Handicap (1200m) at Sandown-Lakeside with ease on Wednesday to not only bring joy to favourite punters but also to the TAB Sportsbet customer who had a Fixed Odds Treble on the race.

The customer had placed $3,600 @ $28.16 on Frankel to win Tuesday night's Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes over 1600m at the first day of the Royal Ascot meeting, then into Little Bridge (NZ) for the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes over 1000m.

Frankel annihilated the Queen Anne Stakes to be rated the best horse in the last 64 years by Timeform, and Little Bridge won the King's Stand Stakes with ease as well. That winning ease was matched at Sandown by Jugahlation under a confident ride by Dwayne Dunn and the bet won $101,407.

A second wager of $3,600 @ $23.68, to collect $85,274 on Frankel into Little Bridge and then Urban Explorer in race six at Sandown, failed to come off when Urban Explorer finished second.

A third bet of $800 @ $43.53, to collect $34,826, on Frankel into Little Bridge and Darlimurla Star in race five at Sandown was foiled when Darlimurla Star was scratched.
