Trainer Peter Moody has confirmed a start in the $500 000, Group 1 The Distinctive Homes Goodwood at Morphettville on May 12 for champion mare Black Caviar.
Moody said the Goodwood had been locked in but also did not rule out the possibility of also starting Black Caviar in the $400,000 Group 1 Sportingbet Classic(1200m) at Morphettville on April 28 before the Goodwood.
Moody said the Adelaide program for the mare will, be resolved after she takes part in a jumpout at Caulfield next Tuesday.
"She'll have a spin around at Caulfield on Tuesday morning," he said.
"We're very positive for Adelaide. I would say we'll definitely be in the Goodwood.
"It's a just a matter of deciding on the option of the Sportingbet Classic beforehand."
The G1 Sportingbet Classic (1200m) is run under weight-for-age conditions for fillies and mares while the G1 Goodwood over the same course and distance is run at set weights plus penalties.
Black Caviar, the winner of all her 19 races, is to be flown to England after the Goodwood for the G1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) at Royal Ascot on June 23 and the G1 July Cup (1200m) at Newmarket on July 14.
The champion mare currently shares the Australasian record of 19 consecutive wins with Desert Gold and Gloaming.
